Thunderhart

Thunderhart Golf Course is in Cairo, Greene County, in the lower Catskill Mountain terrain of the Hudson Valley gateway. The course serves the Cairo community and the Greene County Catskills golf market in the foothills terrain between the Hudson Valley floor and the higher Catskill peaks. Greene County's terrain rises from the Hudson River west of Catskill village into the forested Catskill Mountains, with the Cairo area on the lower slopes and valley floors of this transition zone. The lower Catskills around Cairo have a mix of agricultural land and forested upland that gives the area a rural character above the Hudson Valley.
