Archer City Country Club

Archer City Country Club is in Archer City, Archer County, in north-central Texas on the upper plains. Archer City is the county seat of Archer County, a small county south of Wichita Falls closely associated with novelist Larry McMurtry, who set several of his works in this community. The course occupies open prairie terrain typical of the upper plains in this part of north Texas.
