Chaparral Golf Club is in Dickinson, Galveston County, in the Gulf Coast corridor between Houston and Galveston. Dickinson and surrounding Galveston County communities have a humid subtropical climate with persistent summer heat and Gulf Coast humidity, with mild winters typical of the lower Texas coast.
