Max A. Mandel Municipal Golf Course

Max A. Mandel Municipal Golf Course is a Laredo city golf facility, named to honor a prominent local figure in this far south Texas border community. The course serves the Laredo area in the semi-arid Tamaulipan thornbrush country of the Rio Grande border region. Laredo and Nuevo Laredo across the river form a binational metropolitan area with major international trade crossing activity. The course occupies terrain in the flat, mesquite-dotted landscape of far south Texas.
