Douglas Community Club and Golf Course

Douglas Community Club and Golf Course is in Douglas, the Converse County seat on the North Platte River in east-central Wyoming. Douglas is best known as the home of the jackalope — a fictional hybrid of jackrabbit and antelope that has become Wyoming's unofficial mascot — and the Wyoming State Fair held here annually. The North Platte River valley provides a riparian corridor through the otherwise dry terrain, and the golf course benefits from the valley's slightly more hospitable growing conditions compared to the surrounding plains. Douglas serves the agricultural and ranching communities of Converse County.
