Golf in Gurdon

Gurdon is a Nevada County community in the piney woods of south-central Arkansas, a small city in the timber and agricultural economy of the coastal plain whose community character reflects the rural traditions of a corner of the state that has remained predominantly agricultural. The community is known for the Gurdon Light, a mysterious light seen along the railroad tracks outside the city that has attracted curious visitors for generations and given Gurdon an unusual minor celebrity in the landscape of Arkansas oddities.
