Golf in Beaver Dam

Beaver Dam is a small community in the far northwestern corner of Arizona in Mohave County, in the Virgin River corridor near the Utah border. The community is part of the FLDS (Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) belt that extends across the Arizona Strip into the neighboring Colorado City area, in the red rock canyon terrain above the Grand Canyon's north rim country. Beaver Dam is near the Nevada border and the Arizona Strip, the isolated Arizona territory north of the Grand Canyon separated from the rest of the state by the canyon itself. The Virgin River provides the primary drainage through this remote corner of the state. One course serves the Beaver Dam area in the desert canyon terrain of far northwestern Mohave County.
