Golf in Mountain View

Mountain View is a city in Santa Clara County in Silicon Valley, north of Cupertino and south of Palo Alto. The city is home to several major technology companies, including Google's headquarters at the Googleplex campus, and is a core node in the Silicon Valley tech economy. Santa Clara County's tech corridor includes Mountain View as one of the central cities, with substantial office and research campus development alongside residential neighborhoods. The city has a compact downtown area called Castro Street with restaurants and retail serving the residential and tech worker population. Shoreline Amphitheatre and Shoreline Park are at the north end of the city on San Francisco Bay, providing outdoor entertainment and recreation. The city is served by CalTrain and VTA light rail. Mountain View has high housing values consistent with the core Silicon Valley market.
