Golf in West Covina

West Covina is a city in Los Angeles County in the San Gabriel Valley, between Covina and Rowland Heights in the eastern valley area. The city occupies flat valley terrain in the eastern San Gabriel Valley, where the valley transitions toward the Puente Hills. Los Angeles County's eastern San Gabriel Valley cities, including West Covina and Covina, have a suburban residential and commercial character. The Plaza West Covina shopping center is a major regional retail destination. The city has commercial corridors along Glendora Avenue and Garvey Avenue. Interstate 10 and State Route 60 provide freeway access. The city has a diverse population including a substantial Latino community and is among the larger cities in the San Gabriel Valley.
