Golf in Moodus

Moodus is a village in the East Haddam township of Middlesex County, a Connecticut River valley community known for the Moodus noises—mysterious underground sounds that have been heard in the area since at least colonial times and attributed by Native American tradition to supernatural forces. Banner Country Club provides the Moodus community with nine-hole private golf in a naturally scenic setting adjacent to Devil's Hopyard State Park and the Chapman Falls ravine.
