Golf in Redding

Redding is a rural town in western Fairfield County that has maintained its agricultural and wooded character despite proximity to the New York metropolitan area and the developed communities of Westport and Weston. The town is divided between Redding village and West Redding, with a Congregational church and town green at the historic core and significant woodlands comprising much of the total land area. Mark Twain spent his final years at Stormfield, his estate in Redding, adding a literary association to the town's generally quiet residential identity.
