Golf in Fernandina Beach

Fernandina Beach is the only incorporated city in Nassau County, on Amelia Island in the extreme northeast corner of Florida. Five courses serve the community — Fernandina Beach Municipal Golf Course, Long Point at The Amelia Island Club, Oak Marsh at Omni Amelia Island Resort, The Golf Club at North Hampton, and The Golf Club of Amelia Island — making this island city one of Florida's more golf-dense coastal communities relative to its size. No hole-count data is in public records for most of these operations. The Atlantic Ocean beachfront, the Victorian streetscape of Centre Street, and the Nassau River inlet define the island setting. The Fort Clinch State Park at the northern tip of the island and the resort infrastructure at the southern end create a range of experiences within a single barrier island.
