Golf in Melbourne Beach

Melbourne Beach is a small town in Brevard County on the Atlantic barrier island south of Melbourne, in the Space Coast's southern shoreline. Three courses serve the area — Aquarina Country Club, Spessard Holland Golf Course, and The Habitat — in a quieter barrier-island setting removed from the Brevard County urban core. No hole-count data is in public records for any of these three courses. Melbourne Beach occupies the southern end of the Barrier Island Sanctuary, one of the largest protected barrier island habitats on the Atlantic coast. The natural setting of the island and the low-density residential character of the southern Brevard barrier make this one of the more ecologically distinctive golf communities in the state.
