Golf in Wabasso

Wabasso is a small community in Indian River County on the Treasure Coast, on the barrier island between the Indian River Lagoon and the Atlantic. Two courses serve the area — Red Stick Golf Club and The West Course at John's Island Club — in a part of the county where the barrier-island setting and the affluent residential character define the environment. No hole-count data is in public records for either course. The John's Island community is one of the more exclusive private residential enclaves in Indian River County, and the West Course serves that membership. Red Stick Golf Club serves a different segment of the local market. The Atlantic beach and the Indian River Lagoon frame the barrier-island setting.
