Golf in Milton

Milton is a large, affluent city in northern Fulton County that incorporated in 2006, taking in the northern portion of what had been unincorporated Fulton County north of Alpharetta. The city has maintained a semi-rural character through strict land-use policies that favor large-lot residential development, equestrian estates, and preservation of green space, in contrast to the denser suburban development further south along GA-400. Milton consistently ranks among Georgia's wealthiest communities and is one of the more desirable addresses in the northern Atlanta metro. Two golf courses serve the Milton community.
