Golf in Newnan

Newnan is the county seat of Coweta County and the primary commercial center for the outer southern Atlanta metro along I-85. The city has a well-preserved historic downtown with antebellum architecture that has been a draw for tourism and a point of pride for residents, and Newnan's Main Street district and courthouse square have sustained a small-city identity amid substantial suburban growth. Coweta County has grown rapidly as residential development extended southward from the metro along I-85, and Newnan has both accommodated that growth and worked to maintain its community character. Three golf courses serve the Newnan-Coweta area.
