Golf in Stone Mountain

Stone Mountain is a town in DeKalb County best known for the landmark monadnock from which it takes its name. Stone Mountain Park surrounds the massive granite outcrop and is one of Georgia's most visited tourist attractions, featuring the world's largest bas-relief carving (a Confederate memorial on the north face of the rock), outdoor recreation, and family attractions. The town of Stone Mountain sits adjacent to the park along US-78, east of Atlanta, and its golf course takes advantage of the distinctive terrain in this part of DeKalb County.
