Golf in Makena

Makena is a beach and resort community at the southern end of the Kihei-Wailea corridor on Maui's west coast, historically marking the point where the developed resort landscape gave way to undeveloped lava coast at the transition to the La Perouse Bay area. The Makena Golf and Beach Club's two Robert Trent Jones Jr. courses—the North and South courses—serve the resort community at the end of the road, where the combination of the dramatic volcanic landscape, Big Beach and Little Beach on the shoreline, and the views toward Kahoolawe and Lanai create one of the more naturally beautiful golf environments on Maui.
