Golf in Waihee-Waiehu

Waihee-Waiehu is a community on the north shore of Maui between Kahului and the West Maui Mountains, in the agricultural and residential corridor that connects the commercial center of Kahului to the historic Iao Valley. Waiehu Golf Course is a Maui County municipal facility that provides one of the most affordable golf options on the island, serving the permanent resident community of central Maui rather than the visitor market that patronizes the resort courses of the south shore. The north shore setting—with trade wind exposure, mountain views toward the West Maui Mountains and Iao Valley, and the agricultural landscape of the Maui plain—gives the course a different character from the sun-drenched, resort-oriented courses of Kihei and Wailea.
