Golf in Ammon

Ammon is a suburban city immediately east of Idaho Falls in Bonneville County, functionally part of the Idaho Falls metropolitan area while maintaining its own municipal identity and character. The community has expanded steadily as Idaho Falls has grown outward, absorbing residential development across the Snake River Plain's flat volcanic terrain within reach of regional employment centers. Proximity to Idaho National Laboratory, healthcare employment, and the eastern Idaho agricultural economy sustains a comfortable, family-oriented suburban character. Sand Creek, a tributary of the Snake River system, winds through the area and gives the neighborhood course its name, providing a small piece of natural geography in an otherwise built-out residential landscape.
