Golf in Lewiston

Lewiston is Idaho's lowest-elevation city—just 740 feet—in a dramatic canyon at the Snake and Clearwater river confluence in Nez Perce County, linked by locks to the Pacific Ocean via the Columbia-Snake system. The mild canyon climate allows the longest recreational golf season in Idaho by a significant margin. Lewis and Clark camped near here in 1805, and the Nez Perce homeland surrounds the area with deep cultural and historical significance.
