Golf in Post Falls

Post Falls is Kootenai County's third-largest city, positioned along the Spokane River where waterfalls once powered early industry, giving the city its name and a historic identity independent from neighboring Coeur d'Alene. The city has grown substantially as the westernmost significant community along the I-90 corridor in northern Idaho, drawing manufacturing, distribution, and residential development to its more affordable land base. The Spokane River corridor offers kayaking, fishing, and trail access through river-corridor parks. Prairie Falls Golf Course takes its name from both the original waterfalls and Rathdrum Prairie, which spreads south of the city toward the agricultural flatlands of southern Kootenai County.
