Golf in Jerseyville

Jerseyville is the seat of Jersey County, situated on the upland above the Illinois River valley in the corridor between St. Louis and the Illinois and Mississippi river confluence. The county takes its name from the state of New Jersey, reflecting the origins of some of its early settlers, and Jerseyville has served as the commercial and governmental center for this agricultural county since the early nineteenth century.
