Golf in Berlin

Berlin is a small Worcester County town in the Assabet River watershed, between Hudson and Marlborough in the outer Route 495 suburban belt. Berlin Country Club occupies this community in the river valley terrain of central-eastern Worcester County, serving a semi-rural town that has retained its agricultural character better than the more developed Route 495 communities bordering it. The Assabet River's course through the town, along with conservation land the town has maintained, keeps Berlin less developed than the suburban corridor immediately to the south and east. One club serves a modest residential community with a distinctly semi-rural identity within an otherwise busy commuter belt.
