Golf in Bolton

Bolton is a Worcester County town in the Nashua River watershed, between Stow and Clinton in the outer Route 495 suburban belt. The International occupies a substantial parcel in this semi-rural community, one of the more notable golf operations in central Worcester County. Bolton has maintained its agricultural character despite its position in the I-495 suburban ring, with conservation land and large-lot residential development keeping the town more open than many of its neighbors. The surrounding terrain of the Nashua River upland, with its mixed woodland and moderate topography, gives the course a spacious, rural-adjacent setting harder to find closer to Route 128.
