Golf in Boxford

Boxford is an Essex County town in the Ipswich River watershed between Topsfield and Georgetown, one of the more rural and deliberately low-density communities in the North Shore's outer ring. Country Club of New England serves this community in the wooded upland terrain of the Ipswich River watershed, in a town where the combination of two-acre zoning, the town forest, and the river's protected corridor have maintained a largely undeveloped character uncommon this close to the Route 128 ring. One course serves a small, affluent North Shore community in the outer rural tier, drawing from a market that extends from Boxford into the neighboring towns of Topsfield, Georgetown, and Rowley.
