Brookline is a Norfolk County inner suburb enclosed on three sides by Boston, one of the wealthiest and most densely developed municipalities in Massachusetts. The Country Club serves Brookline as one of the oldest golf clubs in the United States, in terrain shaped by the Muddy River corridor and the Emerald Necklace parkway system.
