Golf in Hyde Park

Hyde Park is a Boston neighborhood in the city's southwestern corner, bordering Milton and Canton in the terrain along the Neponset River's upper reach where the river descends from the Canton upland. Stony Brook Golf Course serves this community in the Neponset River valley terrain at the Boston-Milton-Canton junction, in a neighborhood where the combination of the river's protected corridor, the Stony Brook Reservation, and the commuter rail access to South Station give Hyde Park a more suburban character than most of Boston's neighborhoods. One course serves a large Boston neighborhood in the Neponset corridor, providing access in a part of the city where the urban-suburban boundary is genuinely blurred.
