Golf in Concord

Concord is a Middlesex County town in the Concord River valley, the site of the first battle of the American Revolution and the home of the Transcendentalists, now one of the most deliberately preserved communities in the Greater Boston outer suburbs. Two courses serve the community — Concord Country Club and Nashawtuc Country Club — both drawing from a town where the combination of wealth, conservation awareness, and the Minute Man National Park land have preserved a more agrarian landscape than most communities this close to Route 128. The Concord and Assabet rivers give golf in Concord a protected rural context that many outer suburbs can only approximate.
