Golf in Hopedale

Hopedale is a Worcester County town in the Blackstone Valley between Milford and Upton, a small community whose entire character was shaped by the Draper Corporation's planned model community experiment in the late 19th century. Hopedale Country Club serves this community in the moderate terrain of the Blackstone River watershed, in a town where the Draper Company's legacy — the worker housing, the lake, and the community park — created an unusually uniform residential landscape for a small Massachusetts town. One course serves a small Blackstone Valley community with a more controlled, planned character than most of its Worcester County neighbors, drawing from the Milford-Upton-Hopedale residential corridor.
