Golf in Beltsville

Beltsville in Prince George's County is best known as home to the USDA's Beltsville Agricultural Research Center, a 6,500-acre federal complex dedicated to agricultural science that occupies much of the community's land area. Cross Creek Golf Club serves the surrounding residential community in a neighborhood that exists in a curious relationship with this massive federal open space—dense suburban development on one side, federal farmland and research fields on the other. The Baltimore-Washington Parkway forms Beltsville's eastern edge, and the community's easy access to both cities makes it a practical residential location despite limited commercial character.
