Golf in Elkton

Elkton is the seat of Cecil County at Maryland's extreme northeastern tip, where the Elk River meets the upper Chesapeake Bay and three states converge within a few miles. The town was historically known as an elopement destination due to Maryland's once-liberal marriage laws, but its identity today is shaped by its crossroads position on I-95 between Baltimore and Philadelphia. Patriots Glen National Golf Club serves the Cecil County recreational golf market and captures some of the transit traffic moving through on the busy interstate corridor. The upper Chesapeake's rich waterfowl and fishing resources give Elkton an outdoor-recreation identity that extends well beyond golf.
