Golf in East Jordan

East Jordan is a Charlevoix County city at the southern end of Lake Charlevoix in northern Michigan's resort corridor, a small industrial and commercial city whose character combines the lake-resort tourism of the Charlevoix County lake system with the manufacturing tradition that has given East Jordan—home to the East Jordan Iron Works, manufacturers of municipal castings and infrastructure components—an industrial base unusual among northern Michigan resort communities. The Iron Works' global manufacturing presence has sustained a working-class industrial community alongside the resort economy of the Lake Charlevoix area, giving East Jordan a more economically diverse character than the purely seasonal communities of the northern lake country.
