Golf in Washington Township

Washington Township is the governmental designation for the northern Macomb County community that is also commonly called Washington—a charter township whose residential development has made it one of the more upscale suburban communities in northern Macomb County. The rolling terrain of the northern county and the relative newness of residential development in the township give it a more spacious and naturalistic character than the older inner-ring Macomb suburbs. Golf serves the Washington Township residential and northern Macomb County market. The combined Washington and Washington Township area represents one of the more significant recent suburban growth zones in the Detroit metropolitan area.
