Golf in Huntley

Huntley is an agricultural community in eastern Yellowstone County, where the Yellowstone River valley is at its widest and most productive and the surrounding benchlands support sugar beet and grain crops. The Huntley Irrigation Project transformed the surrounding benchlands into some of Montana's most reliable farmland, and Huntley Golf Course serves the farming families and rural residents who make up the community's population. The course operates on valley-floor terrain characteristic of eastern Montana's river bottomlands, where the horizon is wide and the light on summer evenings is the kind that photographers travel to chase. The Beartooth Range is visible to the south.
