Golf in Burlington

Burlington is the largest city in Alamance County, in the NC Piedmont between the Triangle and the Triad. The city sits on the I-85/I-40 corridor that connects Durham to the east and Greensboro to the west, and has historically been associated with the textile and hosiery manufacturing that shaped much of the Piedmont's mid-twentieth-century economy. Alamance County's position between Orange County and Guilford County gives Burlington a character as an intermediate piedmont city rather than a suburb of either major metro, with its own distinct commercial identity along the Burlington-Graham corridor.
