Golf in Governors Club

Governors Club is a gated private residential community in northern Chatham County, near Chapel Hill on the Orange County border. The community occupies forested terrain in the Triangle's western outer ring, in Chatham County's most developed northern sector adjacent to Orange County and Chapel Hill. Three golf courses — Governor's Club, Foothills, and Lakes — serve the community's membership in this private Chatham County enclave, making it one of the more significant golf destinations in the Triangle's outer ring.
