Golf in Laurinburg

Laurinburg is the county seat of Scotland County, in south-central North Carolina in the Sandhills and Coastal Plain fringe near the South Carolina border. The city is in the agricultural landscape of the lower Lumber River drainage, with a long history in the tobacco and cotton farming economy of this part of the southeastern piedmont. St. Andrews University is located in Laurinburg, adding a college community to what is primarily an agricultural service city. Scotland County borders Hoke, Richmond, Robeson, and Hoke counties in the southern NC interior.
