Golf in Warrenton

Warrenton is the county seat of Warren County, in the NC Piedmont near Virginia. Warren County is in the northeastern NC Piedmont, adjacent to Vance County to the west and Halifax County to the east, along the Roanoke River drainage system near the Virginia border. Warrenton is a small historic county seat in the upper piedmont, in the tobacco-growing landscape north of the Triangle's outer fringe. The county's history as a wealthy antebellum tobacco county is reflected in its historic homes and county seat architecture.
