Golf in Ashland

Ashland in Saunders County has established itself as one of Nebraska's strongest day-trip golf destinations, concentrated along the Platte River valley midway between Omaha and Lincoln on I-80. Four courses — Ashland Golf Club, Country Drive, Iron Horse, and the nationally regarded Quarry Oaks — give the corridor a depth of options that no other similarly sized Nebraska community can match. Quarry Oaks in particular draws golfers from across the region for its dramatic limestone-quarry terrain. The town itself carries a pleasant small-city character, with the Strategic Air Command and Aerospace Museum adding a significant cultural landmark just down the highway.
