Golf in Bridgeport

Bridgeport is the Morrill County seat in the North Platte River valley, positioned between two of the most iconic Oregon Trail landmarks: Courthouse Rock and Jail Rock, which rise dramatically from the valley floor just south of town. These twin buttes — named by emigrant travelers for their resemblance to civic buildings in St. Louis — give the local golf course its evocative name.
