Grants has 1 golf course — 1 public.

Grants is the Cibola County seat in west-central New Mexico at roughly 6,500 feet, a city that built its economy on uranium mining following a 1950 discovery and now serves as a gateway to El Malpais National Monument and the adjacent El Malpais National Conservation Area. The monument's 114,000 acres encompass lava flows, lava tubes, sandstone canyons, and ice caves — a geological landscape of extraordinary variety visible from the Coyote Del Malpais Golf Course fairways. Cibola National Forest surrounds the city, and the Zuni Mountains to the south provide a forested alternative to the desert floor. Interstate 40, following the Route 66 corridor, connects Grants to Albuquerque to the east and Gallup to the west.
