Golf in Albany

Albany is the capital of New York State and seat of Albany County, on the west bank of the Hudson River in the Capital Region. The city anchors the Capital District metropolitan area, which includes Troy, Schenectady, and Saratoga Springs. Albany's terrain runs from the Hudson River shoreline up across a series of escarpments into the plateau of western Albany County. The city's golf landscape includes Capital Hills at Albany, a public layout on city-owned land in the Pine Bush area to the west, and Normanside Country Club, a membership club on the south side of the city near the Normanskill creek corridor.
