Golf in Big Flats

Big Flats is a town in Chemung County in New York's Southern Tier, in the Chemung River valley near Elmira. The community takes the name from the broad, flat floodplain of the Chemung River here, a wide agricultural lowland bordered by steep hills. The Big Flats area includes Elmira-Corning Regional Airport. Three golf operations serve the community: Harris Hill Golf Course and two courses at Willowcreek Golf Club in the Chemung Valley terrain.
