Golf in Chautauqua

Chautauqua is a hamlet in Chautauqua County on the western shore of Chautauqua Lake, home to the Chautauqua Institution — a nationally known educational and cultural campus founded in 1874. The Institution occupies a large lakefront property in the hamlet, hosting a summer program of lectures, performances, and education on the western shore of the lake. The Chautauqua Lake area is the heart of southwestern New York's resort and cultural geography. Three courses serve the Chautauqua area: Chautauqua Golf Club, Willow Run Golf Course, and Woodcrest Golf Club, all in the lake-adjacent terrain of the Institution property and surrounding community.
