Golf in Clayton

Clayton is a village in Jefferson County in the North Country, on the St. Lawrence River in the heart of the Thousand Islands region. The Thousand Islands area where the St. Lawrence River leaves Lake Ontario is one of the most distinctive geographic features of northern New York, with thousands of islands scattered along the river. Clayton serves as a hub for the Thousand Islands tourism and boating community on the river's south shore. Three courses serve Clayton: C-Way Golf Club, Clayton Country Club, and LA Golf and Country Club, all in the river corridor terrain of the Thousand Islands area.
