Golf in Colonie

Colonie is a town in Albany County in the Capital Region, immediately north and west of the city of Albany. The town is one of the most populous in upstate New York, encompassing a broad area of suburban development north of the city including the Albany International Airport. Colonie's terrain is flat to gently varied in the Hudson-Mohawk lowlands at the junction of the two river corridors. The Town of Colonie Golf Course's Green Course is in the Colonie section, with additional Town of Colonie courses in neighboring Niskayuna to the west. Golf at Colonie adds to the recreational offerings in Schenectady County in this area of New York State, serving the community in the local landscape.
