Golf in Forest Grove

Forest Grove is a Washington County community at the western edge of the Tualatin Valley, where the valley floor meets the first rises of the Coast Range foothills. Pacific University has anchored the town since the mid-nineteenth century, giving it an academic character that distinguishes it from the purely residential communities of the inner west metro. Wineries have proliferated in the Chehalem Mountains and Tualatin Hills surrounding the city, and the agricultural landscape of the valley — berries, nursery stock, and filbert orchards — remains present outside the core. Golf in Forest Grove occupies that valley-edge terrain where flat and rolling alternate.
