Golf in North Plains

North Plains is a Washington County community at the western edge of the Tualatin Valley, where the valley floor meets the base of the Tualatin Mountains and the Coast Range begins its rise. The Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club — with its notable Ghost Creek and Witch Hollow courses — is North Plains' most recognized golf address, a facility that has hosted USGA events. The surrounding agricultural landscape retains more of its open character than the communities closer to Hillsboro and Beaverton, and the valley's flat terrain makes the mountain views particularly open on clear days. North Plains occupies the west metro's recreational edge.
