Golf in Grants Pass

Grants Pass is the seat of Josephine County and the commercial hub of the upper Rogue River valley, a community positioned along the I-5 corridor between Medford and the California border. The Rogue River here is one of Oregon's most celebrated whitewater rivers, with the stretch below town drawing rafters and kayakers from across the region. The surrounding Siskiyou Mountains create a rain shadow that gives Grants Pass a warmer, drier climate than its latitude would suggest, with hot summers and mild winters supporting an extended golf season. The Illinois and Applegate river valleys fan out from this hub into mining and timber country.
